A new multidisciplinary performance coming Spring 2027
Coloratura soprano Kimberley Bechtold takes audiences on a journey through the contradictory roles women are expected to inhabit—from innocence and sensuality to fame, ambition, madness, anger, and power.
Combining virtuosic opera, immersive light installation, theatrical movement, and aerial performance, She. Must. Be. transforms some of opera’s most iconic female characters into a contemporary exploration of identity and expectation.
